About Us
BTV Rescue is located in the Dallas, Texas, area. We take in neglected, homeless, and shelter dogs. We rely on public fosters and donations to save lives!
Our history
BTV Rescue was initially established in Buffalo, New York, in 2018. In 2024, they uprooted and moved to Dallas, Texas, to help make a dent in the overwhelming number of shelter dogs being put down for no reason of their own. We have saved over 2,000 shelter and homeless dogs, rehomed over 600 dogs, and saved 48 street dogs in deplorable condition. We also rehabilitate our dogs if they do not pass assessment. Our dogs also get training from a professional dog trainer prior to adoption.
Our mission
BTV Rescue's mission is to provide a safe place where our rescued animals will no longer be abandoned, abused, or euthanized. We will stop at nothing to end killings in shelters and dog fight. Every animal deserves a chance to be loved and it is our mission to make that happen. We will also work together to educate the communities about the "bully breeds" so that they get a chance to enjoy the life they deserve.
